Lessons are held during NSW school terms (generally 10 weeks each term for four terms per year).

Students have the option to prepare for AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board) exams or to simply enjoy learning a variety of styles and repertoire without examination.

Tuition costs cover time spent with the student, lesson preparation and curriculum development, and use of resources and equipment during the lesson. Students will need to purchase their own music book and theory book for use during home practice. Information about the required books will be given as needed.

Payment Terms and Conditions

At the beginning of each term students will be given an invoice with the total fee for the term (i.e. $400 for a 10 week term).

A 5% discount will be applied for term fees paid in full by the end of Week 1 of the term. Payments made after the first week of the term, or payments made in instalments, will not be eligible for the 5% discount.

A $50.00 late fee will be applied in the instance that no payment has been made by Week 4 of the school term.

Any student who has fees outstanding at the end of the term will not be eligible to continue lessons until the outstanding amount has been paid in full.

Cancellation Policy

Please make every effort to give as much notice as possible if you are unable to attend a piano lesson.

Cancellation with less than 48 hours notice: If you are unable to make a lesson and give less than 48 hours’ notice of your cancellation, you will still be charged your full lesson fee. Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will not be rescheduled.

Cancellation with more than 48 hours notice: If you give more than 48 hours’ notice that you are unable to make a lesson, every effort will be made to reschedule your lesson for another mutually suitable time.

It is requested that you give minimum 2 weeks’ notice if you wish to cancel all future lessons.
